ACTUALLY IMPLY?

People often judge young ones differently. Pessimists usually see them as a radicalized and anti-European grouping, while optimists perceive them as heartfelt supporters of European integrations. The truth is that being young does not qualify one either as an a priori Euro-skeptic or Euro-optimist. Younger generations’ political...

Novi Sad, October 31 – November 4, 2005

01/04/2006 , HCHRS

Young people were more than eager to attend the third school the project’s Novi Sad office organized in 2005. Unfortunately, organizers had to cut down the list to 39 trainees, while placing some 16 young people on the waiting list for the first school to be organized in 2006. Actually, the announced keynote speakers and topic made the reason for such interest in the course. Several potential trainees have been even ready to travel from Belgrade to Novi Sad just to attend the school...

Twenty-two students of four local secondary schools attended the fifth in a row “School of Democracy” organized by the project’s Kragujevac branch office. »This school is super! POLITICS AND SOCIETY: FAVORITISM AND BACKROOM INFLUENCE

The 16th in the series of seminars “Life and Living in Multiethnic Environments”

Kragujevac, November 11-13, 2005

12/07/2005 , HCHRS

That indicates that many things are still swept under the carpet or those who are have them are prevented to go public. Well, that’s the same – simply, there are people who don’t want citizens to know the truth. And now I feel somehow privileged, since, unlike others, I’ve learned so much and got answers to scores of questions. Somehow, that’s not fair.”...

Twenty students of the Second Kragujevac Gymnasium, School of Economics and School of Tourism attended the fourth “School of Democracy,” organized by the project’s Kragujevac branch office. Interesting topics they wanted to learn more about, as well as the need to hear other people’s opinions and test their own stands motivated them to apply, they said at the beginning of the course.
